If you are interested in becoming an ARRL Volunteer Examiner, it's easy and FREE !
Refer to our Volunteer Examiner information consisting of our Volunteer Examiner Manual in Adobe PDF format. Review Chapter 2 (Becoming a Volunteer Examiner), then once you've read the manual and have completed the required application document(s) please fax or mail the requested forms to ARRL VEC, 225 Main St, Newington CT 06111 USA (fax: 860-594-0339) in order to be on your way to becoming an ARRL VE. (Note: If documents are faxed to VEC, you may need to mail the original application for completion of accreditation since we require your signature on file for identity conformation on exam documents.)
Once accredited, you will receive in the mail a colorful laminated VE Badge and a badge clip to wear at test sessions and a wall certificate suitable for framing. All of these items are free!
