Ham University

Instructions for Installation and Use by Instructors

INSTRUCTORS: please print one copy of this page for each copy of Ham University ordered. When you order a copy of Ham University for your class, it can be installed and activated on up to five different PC's -- which may belong to up to five different students.

Each copy of Ham University includes a CD and a User Manual to be shared by up to five students (five installs). For example, an instructor should purchase four copies of Ham University for a class of twenty students.

Each student should install the software on their own PC, and enter their own name when prompted (each student should use their own name). Instructors should print this page and keep track of the installations below:

Activation Simplified:

Each student must "activate" the software during installation on his or her own PC, as described in the Quick Start Sheet provided with the program. During activation, the "Sales Code" (the 4-5 characters written on each CD) gets a three-character extension, which is different for each computer (up to five installs). The Sales Code plus the extension is called the Activation "Key".

For more details and what to do if you don't have an Internet connection available, please see either the User Manual or the Quick Start Sheet.

If you have questions, please contact nq1r@arrl.org.
