Foundation for Amateur Radio Announces Scholarship Winners for 2002

RIVERDALE, MD, Jul 12, 2002--The Foundation for Amateur Radio Inc has announced the 2002 winners of the 57 scholarships it administers. These scholarships are open to Amateur Radio licensees who meet the qualifications and residence requirements of the various sponsors.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization incorporated in the District of Columbia, representing more than 75 Amateur Radio clubs in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia. It is devoted exclusively to the scientific, literary and educational pursuits that advance the purposes of the Amateur Service.
