"Rita" Amateur Operations Continue

All amateurs are requested to keep HF emergency net frequencies clear for Hurricane Rita emergency operations, especially:

Amateurs who wish to assist should not travel to the affected area. ARRL HQ has received reports from Section Managers and Section Emergency Coordinators in the area that it is not safe to enter the area independently at this time. Amateurs who wish to assist should register via the Hurricane Rita Disaster Communications Volunteer Registration & Message Traffic Database and await instructions.
