- Author Jack MacLean, K2IUK, points out
that the word "hardly" was erroneously omitted from the first sentence of the
second paragraph in his "Vocoder Revived" piece [Technical Correspondence, Oct
2002, p 69]. The sentence should have read "Certainly, the achievements of
today, as described in the update article, could hardly have been envisioned
about 70 years ago when Homer Dudley at Bell Labs described his design of a
voice coder, the Channel Vocoder."
- The center frequency in the drawing in "How's
DX?" [Oct 2002, p 77] should read 21,447 kHz.
