- Windows Media Player, Apple Quicktime and RealPlayer all
offer the ability
to play either video "scaled" to a larger size or in
Fullscreen mode,
making the video easier to watch. Other MPEG-1 players offer similar
functionality.
- In Windows Media Player, click the View menu and select Full Screen.
- In Apple Quicktime, click the Movie menu and select Fill Screen.
- In RealPlayer, click the View menu and select Full Screen Theater.
- Copy the video file to your local hard drive--especially
if you are using
the high-resolution MPEG. Playback should be notably more smooth than
from
running the video off of this CD-ROM.
- Lower your monitor's resolution for full-screen playback
or to make the
video appear larger. Video will play smoother and appear sharper.
- In Windows 95-XP open the Control Panel, open the Display Control
Panel,
click Settings, and lower the Screen Resolution to 640x480
or 800x600;
click OK to make the change.
- On the Macintosh open the Control Panels, select Monitors and change
the
resolution to 640x480 or 800x600.
