All Communications - 2 Meter - FM Simplex
Date: Saturday - June 19, 1998
Hours: 6pm-8pm
Question and Answer Net: 5:30pm-5:59pm Saturday June 19, 1999
145.350 FM (- offset) W3LIF Repeater

Objective:

Stations in Mercer County - to work as many stations as possible.

Stations outside Mercer County - to work as many stations within Mercer County as possible.

Categories:

Single Operator - One person performs all operations including logging.

Single Operator Handheld - Same as described above with 5 watts maximum output. Rubber Duck or Telescopic Type antenna affixed directly to the radio (no coax jumper between radio and antenna)

Mobile Multi Op - Any number of operators, but only one call sign per vehicle.

Mobile Single-Op - One person does all operating, driving and logging. No one other than operator allowed in vehicle.

Multiple Operator - Unlimited operators, 1 call sign. Shared responsibility in transmitting and logging.

Out-of-County - Single operator, Single Operator Handheld, Mobile Single-Op, Mobile Multi- op, Multiple operators, 1 call sign, operating outside the geographical bounds of Mercer County.

Notes:

**All categories are limited to 50 watts maximum output with the exception of handhelds which are limited to 5 watts maximum output.

**All categories are allowed only one transmitted signal at any time.

Special Grand Prize Award:

A special grand prize will be awarded by way of a random drawing from entrants who submit a log of 5 or more contacts. Winner will be announced at the July 1998 MCARC Picnic.
