DXCC Challenge – 3,000 Level

The top three on the DXCC Challenge List at the end of December each year are the DeSoto Cup winners. The December 2006 top three are Bob, W4DR, Fausto, I4EAT and Rys, SP5EWY! W4DR, who still holds his original cup, receives the first place gold medal, while Fausto will receive the silver medal for second place and Rys the bronze medal for third place. We welcome 3 newcomers to the 3,000 club, DF3CB, K4PI and G3KMA! Also, in October, Fausto, I4EAT briefly achieved the #1 spot passing W4DR. However, after a submission in December Bob reclaimed the #1 position. Congratulations to Fausto and good luck in the future, as only 11 points separate first and second place! 2007 should prove interesting!
