5 hours until the real fun starts and it appears everything is in place for the party. Thanks to all who have made this event -and the entire year of Hello! - possible.
If you have not seen it yet, be sure to also look at www.hello-radio.org/event and see some of the people and groups that will be on the air over the coming 24 hours.
This is our celebration of making friends all over the world by saying Hello! Hope you will join us.
Get on the air and say, "Hello!"

Wow - thank you to all of you that have checked out our video! Within the first 12 hours - we had 250 hits on the video - on a holiday weekend!! Very exciting for us! There are now over 400 hits!!
I have received a couple emails with questions on where we'll be operating and about other modes - the list I put in the first blog entry was not meant to be all-inclusive of what we are doing. This is a skeleton schedule of how we are starting to plan our time.
Once we are up and running - we'll be sure to post what's going on with the bands - so this blog will hopefully be a useful tool!

Ok - You have to remember that it's Friday night before the holiday - and if you think we're goofy now - just wait till 15 hours into the event!!!

Hi again!
Joe Carcia and I are getting ready to make the first video to welcome you!!! Get ready - it should be pretty entertaining!!! It looks like the best way to manage the videos will be by giving you guys a link to youtube.com......
So for anyone that wants to send in their stories, ideas, interesting QSOs during the event - please email them to me at w1krb@arrl.org and be sure to put Hello Blog in the Subject line. That way I'll be sure to check your email right away!
And hopefully this should go without saying, but anything inappropriate or potentially offensive will not be included in the blog. But like every other blog out there - got to add that disclaimer!!
Just think, this time next week - we'll be ON THE AIR!!!
