Taking a Sample On-line Course
Before registering for an on-line course, you may want to take a sample course to familiarize yourself with the course template and tools used for all our online courses. This course is located on the Connecticut Distance Learning (CTDLC) server, where all of our on-line courses are hosted. Please read the following instructions before navigating to the sample course.
Use the following ID and Password to gain access to the sample course.
- Student ID = ARRL and Password = ARRL. Click on Enter.
- Click on Sample ARRL Course Classroom,
- Click on Enter Course, then
- Enter.
Please bear in mind that some of the features will not be active in the sample environment. Please do not change the Student ID and Password while viewing the Sample Course.
When you have finished your tour of the sample classroom, you will need to go back to the ARRL website to register for the course you want to take. Do not click on the New Student Registration button on the CTDLC site as it is disabled. Just close the CTDLC window and return to this page where you can click on the link for the Registration Calendar in the menu at the right to register for the course you want.
