Contributions to ARRL may be designated to one of the existing permanent funds that support ARRL's work on behalf of Amateur Radio in different interest areas. Contributions may be made at any time on the web (using the donation form), by phone or mail.
The ARRL Fund supports all of the mission-related activities of the ARRL advocacy, education, scientific research, historic preservation, the promotion of Amateur Radio and public service through emergency communications.
The Defense of Frequencies Fund supports ARRL advocacy efforts in Washington and worldwide to protect Amateur Radio spectrum.
The W1AW Fund provides support for the day-to-day operations, maintenance and capital needs of w1aw, The Percy Maxim Memorial Station.
The Laboratory Fund provides funds to cover the expenses of the ARRL Lab, including spectrum related research, equipment replacement and travel on behalf of Amateur Radio.
The Legal Research and Resource Fund provides for research and expert opinions and the filing of legal briefs in proceedings related to Amateur Radio.
The ARRL Education & Technology Fund provides financial support for the development of a nationwide program to expand the use of Amateur Radio in schools as a hands-on teaching tool in science, mathematics, social studies, communications and personal development.
The Amateur Radio Historical Preservation Fund provides resources for the acquisition, refurbishment, storage and display of equipment and other memorabilia that is vital to the understanding and propagation of Amateur Radio history and traditions.
Awards Funds:
Project Goodwill provides equipment to poorer countries with the expectation of establishing or rekindling interest in Amateur Radio.
The Colvin Fund Award provides grants in support of
DXpeditions approved by the headquarters committee that reviews such
applications.
