VHF Magnetic Antennas

I've ended up with several (8 or 10) magnetic base antennas for VHF radios out of rural fire trucks. What would I need to do to use these with dual band UHF VHF radios and CBs? New to Ham Radio, so please don't assume any competence. Thanks. |

You might be able to modify them to work on the VHF or UHF amateur ham bands depending on the type of antennas they are. An antenna analyzer would be very helpful. Bill |
