80 meter antenna for an apartment.

I live in a ground floor apartment with a 12' x 12' fenced patio. my "shack" is my Honda Accord with an ATAS-120 that works OK down to 40 meters. Propagation being what it is, I want to work 80 mtrs. What is the best choice? I am looking at a Chameleon V2, but I also have a Buddipole. So the V2 or buy an 80 meter coil for the buddipole or what? Just had a ceazy idea, If I tune the ATAS-120 and then go to 80 meters on the Yaesu -857, would that work for 80 mtr. CW? |
