FT-101 EE cw frequency shift

My 1976, FT 101 EE has been in use nearly continuously with few problems. Recently I'm getting reports of my cw freq shifting up and down periodically, maybe 300-500 cycles, . No particular pattern. Suggestions ??? |

The best tool for fixing this is a general coverage receiver that would allow you to listen to the oscillators in your FT 101 EE while transmitting into dummy load. Sometimes it is an RF feedback problem that only happens on a particular antenna. Zak W1VT ARRL Senior Lab Engineer |
