80m OCF conversion to 160m

I may be crazy but I think I once heard or read that an 80m dipole could be extended to cover 160m by adding the right amount of wire to one end of it. I have an OCF dipole so can I add wire to the long end of it to expand coverage to 160m? Many thanks. |
