EARC is Emergency Amateur Radio Club based at Honolulu, HI and they produce an END FED 6-40 Meter Multiband HF Antenna with a 9:1 UNUN. Question...has anyone used it in the manner they recomend? And how did it perform?

I have been using one for some time now and it performs very well. I use a 66.5 ft wire instead of the 30' wire furnished but tried the 30' and it did work. If you are using digital, i.e. JT65, it gets hot at some frequencies if over 50W. However, since these modes are for low power, that should not present a problem. I use the 20/40 100W version with an automatic tuner. I have also built 2 using their homebrew instructions and these work equally well. For my homebrew, I used a larger box and added ventilation holes to compensate for any heat, since my box is not outdoors.
