Highlights include the organization and operation of the USAF Keesler AFB Amateur Radio Club and station, 1948 while attending RADAR School; airborne operation from USAF C54 aircraft, 1951 -- 1952, operation at and near Byrd Station, Antarctica, 1964; from sailboat, Baltic Sea, portable from Prague Czechoslovakia, Helsinki, Finland, and English sea shore, 1976; operation on numerous hiking trips along Olympic NP, Washington coast; and sailboat trips Northwest U.S. and Canadian waters, 1977 -- 1985. Current operation mostly portable on HF and VHF bands from native Montana wilderness fishing campsites.
