AS OF 1740Z 16 SEP 99, UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF SECTION 97.301 OF THE
FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION'S RULES AND REGULATIONS (47 C.F.R.
PART 97) A VOLUNTARY COMMUNICATIONS EMERGENCY WITH NO DECLARATIONS
BY COMMISSION OFFICIALS AT THIS TIME IS BEING REQUESTED BY ARRL IN
MARYLAND AND WASHINGTON DC AND THEREFORE RELINQUISHING THE USE OF
FREQUENCIES 392O.0 PLUS OR MINUS 3 KHZ FOR HANDLING EMERGENCY
TRAFFIC RESULTING FROM HURRICANE FLOYD.

VOLUNTARY CLEARANCE OF 3993.5 KHZ FOR SOUTH CAROLINA IS NO LONGER
REQUIRED. PLEASE CONFIRM WHEN CLEARANCE IS CANCELLED.
