No improvement is in sight. There may be a rise in geomagnetic activity around February 25 and again around March 9 through 12. Conditions should be stable for the 160 meter SSB contest this weekend, but there may be a rise in geomagnetic instability on Sunday. Check WWV at 18 minutes after the hour. Every three hours the K index changes. As long as the K index is below three, conditions should be good. Sunspot Numbers for February 15 through 21 were 11, 0, 0, 0, 12, 14 and 26, with a mean of 9. 10.7 cm flux was 69, 70.1, 70.7, 70.2, 71, 72.2 and 71.9, with a mean of 70.7. NNNN /EX
