This weeks bulletin was made possible with information provided by
Tedd, KB8NW, the OPDX Bulletin, The599Rpt, 425DXnews, QRZ DX, Daily
DX and Contest Corral from QST. Thanks to all.
ROTUMA, 3D2. Roberto, EA4DX, has been QRV as 3D2DX on 20 meters
around 1200z. He will be here until September 19. He will be
active on 160 to 10 meters, including the newer bands, using SSB and
RTTY. QSL to home call.
UGANDA, 5X. Jacky, F2CW, hopes to be active possibly as 5X2CW from
Kampala for the next few weeks. QSL via ZL3CW.
NEPAL, 9N. Satish, 9N1AA, has been QRV on SSB, but mostly using
RTTY. QSL via N4AA, except JA stations via JM2HBO.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, A6. Ali, A61AJ, will soon be active. QSL via
W3UR.
BAHRAIN, A9. David, A92GE, has been QRV on 30 meters around 2000z
to 2100z.
TAIWAN, BV. Wendy, BV2RS, has been QRV on 20 meters around 1200z.
DJIBOUTI, J2. Fred, J28FA, is usually QRV on 20 meters using CW
around 2300z. QSL via F5MXH.
SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Ricardo, LU1ZI, is QRV on Sundays on 3630
khz at 0230z from Tenierente Jubany Base. QSL to Base Cientifica
Jubany, Correo Argentino El Palomar, Via Base Marambio, 9411
Antarctic Argentina.
MALI, TZ. Bob, K4RB, is now active as TZ6DX from Bamako. He will
be here for a multi year assignment and will be active on most
modes. QSL via K4DX
CHAGOS ISLANDS, VQ9. Dale, W4QM, will be active again on all bands
using CW. QSL via W4QM.
VANUATU, YJ. Hide, 7M3VAL, is active as YJ0AAU. He has been QRV on
40 meters using CW. QSL to home call.
ALBANIA, ZA. A number of operators from Radio Club Partizani expect
to be active as ZA0IS using CW and SSB from Sazan Island, IOTA EU
169, on various days until September 15. QSL via ZA1K.
GIBRALTAR, ZB2. Resident ZB2 stations may use the ZG2 prefix during
September to celebrate Gibraltar National Day on September 10. QSL
via regular ZB2 callsigns.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The ARRL September VHF QSO Party, Worked
All Europe Phone Contest, North American Sprint, and the Ohio and
Indiana QSO Parties are all on tap for this weekend. Please see
