Our sole served agency is Ascension Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness but we do much more than EMCOM. We are an active group of radio, electronic, and computer enthuaist who like to learn about the many aspects of ham radio. We meet once a month and cover a new topic in our programs. We have a communications trailer for emergency communications that we also use for WFD, Field Day, and Scouting events. Our newsletter Ascension Airwaves covers happenings from South Louisiana, the nation, the world, even outer space.
