Proudly serving the local community in Montgomery County, Maryland since 1966. Members support emergency communications, public service, education and training, as well as continuous learning through bi-monthly meetings with presentations related to Amateur Radio by experts in the field. Club also owns and operates three local amateur repeaters and two APRS digipeaters. These are "open" repeaters and are available to any licensed ham. Our 2m (146.955 MHz) repeater main transmitting and receiving site is located in Rockveill, MD and several remote sites providing enhanced and extended coverage within the area. The fully configured 146.955 repeater constellation consists of 5 sites and contains 13 antennas. MARC's 70 cm (442 MHz), D-STAR (444 MHZ) and 6m (53 MHz) repeaters operate as single-site repeaters.  Working radius of 2m repeater is approximately 40 miles providing 5,000 square miles of coverage.
